Our Afterschool Program is located at our Bronx facility. Your child needs to be 5 before s/he can register. You will need to make an appointment with the Afterschool Supervisor (TeRoy Parker) or Education (Deloris Lee) or Co-Director (Ruth Galarza), to discuss the program, tour the center and obtain an application – telephone number is 718-329-6023.
The program create opportunities for children to develop healthy relationships and a sense of self through collaborative activities planned
by the Afterschool Director. These include a range of enrichment choices in addition to homework assistance. Children are exposed to experiences including art, literacy, poetry, drama, dance, building, community awareness, indoor/outdoor activities and our recently established choir. Out program offers children a place to relax after the structure and stress of their school day. Additional enrichment activities will be added during the school year soon so look out for posters or contact us for more information!
