The Social Services component of RCN's program is an additional protective factor for children and a family strengthening element for parent/guardians

Our staff consists of a Licensed Social Worker and two social work interns from the Columbia University School of Social Work.  They are here to serve you Monday through Thursday from 9.00am to 6.00pm. 

Our Social Worker, Diana Wilson along with her intern assistants ensures that your child's experience at RCN is successful.

The team will make referrals to enhancement programs such as  Speech and other specialized learning. They also refer parents to workshops to grasp parenting and other child rearing skills and techniques; finding parent support networks and other community resources for parents such as housing information, GED or Literacy resources; conducting workshops to educate parents on current health issues such as asthma, contagious diseases, ringworm  and much more. These workshops are offered throughout the school year.

RCN’s Bronx location at 2380 Marion Avenue, offers a free, on-site, seven week course for parents in English as a second language (ESL.)

2009 UPK Graduation:

In june of this year, Ms. Wilson extended her expertise by being the emcee for RCN's 2009 UPK graduation.
